On Sept. 11 the championship dinner for Lee Harris was
served. Lee's wife Willa fixed some great tasting homemade
chili with crackers and soul satisfying cornbread. Thank you
Willa for the delicious meal.
A correction on the domino game playing times: on
Wednesdays from 5 to 7 pm will be open play; from 7 pm
to 9 pm games will count toward the monthly championship.
Fridays will remain the same: from 5 to 6 pm is open play
and from 6 to 9 pm games will count toward the monthly
championship. I hope this clears up any confusion.
Jesse Dimmer was the domino champion for the month
of September after tying up with Robert Manuel. Both
players finished the month with 18 game wins. In the sudden
death domino tie breaker Jesse was the winner. He has been
climbing up the mountain for a long time and finally made
it to the top. Congratulations to Jesse. Robert should have
shared his Pepsi with you.
Dominoes are played every Wednesday and Friday from 5
to 9 pm in the Lodge Game Room. For more information call

Our club still is collecting some additional members,
which is great! There are several different projects by the
class members - caricatures, relief carvings and chip carving.
We continue learning how to keep our knives and chisels
sharpened and ready for use.
All are welcome to bring their skills and projects to share
in the chip making experience. We meet from 3 to 5 pm in
