The HOA is in the process of accepting the western portion of the Edison easement from builder K. Hovnanian Homes. The process involves a joint walk involving members from Euclid Management, Landscape Committee, K. Hovnanian, K. Hovnanian landscapers and our two landscape contractors. During the walk concerns are identified, compared to the plans for the area and documented on a "punch list." The builder then must correct any discrepancies before actually handing the area over to the HOA. This portion of the easement will be considered as a trail for the HOA. Split rail vinyl fencing will be installed along Four Seasons Circle and Pipe Springs. A pedestrian gate will enable trail walkers entry onto the "E" trail. A locked vehicle gate will enable Edison and landscape vehicles to enter the area for maintenance. As with all of our trails, HOA members are not allowed to use vehicles on this trail and it should not be used after rainfall turns the trail muddy. Along with the trail, the HOA will pick up a new water meter and backflow device and an irrigation system that is both drip and sprinkler. There are two sets of double benches along the trail. At our request two of the benches now face north toward the San Gorgonio Mountains. Two benches remain facing south and, if warranted by demand, can be reversed at a later date. Homeowners whose backyards front the easement are reminded to trim their plant life so it remains within their yards. There are openings for new members on the Landscape Committee and we need help to meet these challenges and opportunities. Applications are available at the Lodge desk. ~ Len Tavernetti FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2015 19 Landscape Committee Rules & Regulations Committee REMINDER - BE A COURTEOUS DRIVER. Residents have complained of speeders and tailgaters in the community. The speed limit is 30 miles an hour on Four Seasons Circle and 25 everywhere else. Slow down at intersections and yield the right-of-way to pedestrians. Cars in the traffic circles have right-of-way over cars entering the circles — yield to them. Don't follow too close. Go slow in the parking lots, drivers are backing up and people are walking to and from their cars. The Beaumont police patrol Four Seasons streets, so violators can get costly traffic tickets. ~ Leighton McLaughlin, for the committee "E" Trail Benches to enjoy sunrise and sunset Social Committee Think Aladdin, magic carpets, glamorous jewel-toned colors, a delicious elegant meal, a live band, surprises galore and fun, fun, fun and you'll have an inkling of what's in store for the "Arabian Nights" New Years Eve.
