FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2015 33 Performing Arts Club It's Gobble-Gobble Day month… Thanksgiving Day, one of my favorite holidays. A day to reflect back and give thanks for what you have, and what you appreciate. On behalf of the Performing Arts Club, we give thanks to the community of Four Seasons for coming out to support our shows in 2015! We've had more new people join our productions in 2015 than in any other year prior and we've had record breaking attendance. 2016 is around the corner; let's do it again! I hope everyone enjoyed the two Radio Shows in October as much as we enjoy entertaining you. Tom Shelley, Producer, pours his heart into these productions, as does the cast, sound effect folks, and crew. There are more radio shows planned for 2016, so please, if you want to recommend a specific radio show or you have an interest in participating, please contact us. Next on the agenda, the play "Seasons"! It's an original play, written by Eileen Gilbert, a wonderful "seasoned" playwright and also a resident at Four Seasons. The "free" tickets sold out in near-record time on 10/10. Congrats, if you were lucky enough to get a ticket. However, if you don't have one and would like to attend, ask at the Lodge desk if anyone has tickets available. Often, there are people with tickets who find they can't attend and their tickets become available again. It's worth a try since there is a lot of very positive buzz going around regarding this play. And now, our Holiday Show will be on two consecutive days: Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5. Choose the day which is best for you, as the shows are identical. Sharon Bond, producer of the show, is hard at work to bring our community something different than we've had in past years, while also keeping with some traditions. One tradition is hearing the choir sing some of your favorite holiday songs. Bring a sweater, we're going to give you the chills! Also, please bring bells or keys with you. We will need your assistance with one of our songs. There will also be a variety of other performances and 'Readings of Holiday Memories'.
