FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2015 35
We meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in
the Craft Room at the Lodge. Our next meeting will be Nov.
17. Visitors are always welcome. We invite all photographers,
regardless of skill level, to join us for our regular meetings and
field trips. Members are always eager to help and teach.
For the October meeting, the assignment was a "wow!"
photograph of anything. It would be a photo that speaks for
itself, i.e. when someone sees it, they simply think "wow!" We
had some great representations and we asked the photographer
to explain the settings of the camera, location of the photo, and
all other particulars. We asked that submissions be kept to three
or less per photographer.
The club is exploring some field trips. Stay tuned.
Our club has introduced additional topics to our meetings
with various members giving presentations to the members on
a subject they know and/or use, e.g. photography topic, software,
hardware, etc. Recently, camera club member Joe Ligori spoke
about auto focus vs. manual focus and the benefits of each.
More great topics are coming up! ~ Lyle Cameron
