The Four Seasons at Beaumont Rainbow Group meets occasionally for casual dinners. This will allow our LGBT neighbors and friends to socialize, to update each other on what we have been up to and to discuss important social issues. We don't plan a dinner in November. When scheduled, we gather in the courtyard area outside Smitty's, order whatever dinner items you wish and have dinner on the patio, weather permitting. Should you wish to enjoy your own beverages, please feel free to bring whatever you desire. If you have any suggestions or questions, please call or email Dale at (951) 797-0364 or dale.beckes@gmail.com; Barbara at (951) 845-6246 or bamerton@alumni.ucla.edu. ~ Dale Beckes 36 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2015 Rainbow Group The Four Season Singers are head first into learning our music for the Holiday Show. We hope you come out either Friday, Dec. 4 or Saturday, Dec. 5 to hear us. Make sure to bring your bells or your car keys to jingle and we hope the little ones (grandkids) will come up front to join us when we do the sing-a-long at the end of the evening. We meet in the Ballroom near the piano. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 3 to 5 pm. Or, you can contact Barbara Wasco (951) 797-3466 or email at bawasco@ dc.rr.com. ~ Barbara Wasco Four Seasons Singers Welcome back to our neighbors and friends from their holidays and vacations. It is great to see everyone back around home and looking great. Well the time has just about run out regarding the Christmas party reservations. This is our last reminder! Be sure to get your reservations paid for no later than Nov. 30; the cost is $50 per person. Please call Wondell Collins at (951) 845-7263, Delene (Dee) Houston at (951) 205-0972 or Johnetta Driscoll at (951) 922-6039. The cut-off date off date is November 30th. Betty Ann has invited, a representative from AARP Medicare Complete United Health Care to attend our Nov. 2 meeting. Medicare Open Enrollment is just around the corner. Once a year, we have the opportunity to review our health care needs and enroll in or switch to a plan that might be a better fit for the upcoming year. Remember Open enrollment for 2016 Medicare coverage is Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. We are looking forward to the Part II Boot Camp titled "Last Will and Testament, Trusts," hosted by Roxie Elliott. Look for the flyers and reminders in the Lodge. The date is Monday, Nov. 2 at 6 pm. If you are interested in attending please call Roxie Elliot. A headcount is very important to insure enough handouts for everyone in attendance. The last Boot Camp had standing room only, so get your name on the list as soon as possible. Please remember all family, friends and neighbors are invited; pass the word on to everyone you know. Weaver Mortuary of Beaumont met with us and provided all in attendance with very important and needed information. According to some of our neighbors that have already made contact with Weaver Mortuary, it has been said that they were very receptive, willing to answer questions and provide much needed information. Happy Birthday to all of our October, November and December members! Our next scheduled meeting will be held on Monday, Nov. 2 at 6 pm. For more information, comments, questions or concerns, please contact Betty Ann James at (951) 572-5538. See you all there. ~ Wanda Valentine Classical Music Club African American Culture Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music.
