I heard people say they wanted something different…
well they got it! On Oct. 17, the Four Seasons Ballroom was
transformed into a "Magic Carpet Fantasy" with tents, a
camel, belly dancer and hanging material with carpet and
much more! How can I thank the many people who helped
pull this fabulous event together except to say, thank you!
My committee consisted of the following ladies who
worked so hard for many months before planning and
creating the beautiful decorations: Dana Inslee (Co-
Chair), Margie Culton, Jeanne Lincoln, Diane Corte, Diane
Allender, Joan Wolfe, Sharon Simms, Carrie Stephens and
Social Committee Liaison, Carolyn Lebo.
A big thank you to Jim Allender for building the
beautiful Moroccan doorway placed on our stage.
Maureen Davis, the belly dancer was a huge hit with the
crowd! Maureen is a beautiful, professional belly dancer
who did a fantastic job entertaining us. Our husbands
particularly enjoyed her! We also enjoyed the evening
dancing to the music of Vinyl Pirates.
Thank you to Francisco for a delicious, Greek style
dinner. And thank you, members of the community, for
