Come on Sun., Dec. 13, starting at 3 pm in front of the Lodge for tailgating. At 5 pm the decorated carts will slowly drive throughout the community, starting on Four Seasons Blvd. returning in time for the Compassionate Friends Candle Lighting at 7 pm and the Vintage Voices Christmas concert at 7:30 pm. If you wish, you may bring a dessert item to the Ballroom so that after the parade we can enjoy the goodies while we listen to the Vintage Voices as they entertain us with their Home For Christmas program. If you are able to amplify music from your golf cart, it is requested that you choose holiday music that can be played as we drive throughout the community. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Don Walsh at (951) 926-8068. would cause the least problems for a golfer approaching the bunker. When placing the rake it is suggested to lay it parallel to play and outside the bunker. There are seven instances to the rules where a player can actually move his ball that does not result in a penalty. They are: searching for a ball, in repairing a hole plug or ball mark, in measuring, in lifting a ball after marking on green, in placing or replacing the ball, in removing loose impediments on the putting green and in removing movable obstructions. Anyone standing close to the flagstick (i.e. within reach of it) is deemed to be attending it, even if the player making the stroke has not authorized him or her to do so. So, when playing a stroke be very careful and ask anyone standing close to the flag stick to move away, or you would incur a two-stroke penalty if your ball strikes it, even though you may have played from off the green. You may rub the ball on the surface of the green to remove mud or dirt. Although this is not a rules violation, such action may be construed by your playing partners as "testing the surface of the putting green." Testing the surface of the green is a two-stoke penalty. If your ball comes to rest next to a cactus, you may wrap your arm or leg in a towel to protect yourself from the needles when you play your shot. But you can't cover the cactus with a towel.
