Memory Care Group After a year of wonderful shows, we are dark in December. We're proud of the programs we presented in 2015, and we know you enjoyed them, too, since most of them were sold out! Looking back at 2015: Jan.: The incomparable Kingston Trio had the audience singing along to old favorites. Feb.: Singer-guitarist Jim Curry delighted us with "Take Me Home, the Music of John Denver." March: Singer-pianist Jim Witter brought us "The Piano Men," featuring the music of Elton John and Billy Joel. April: The "Golden Age of Harmony" with The Four Preps and the New Chordettes. May: Opera-trained Kristen Hertzenberg brought us lovely arias and warm pop songs. June: We remembered Jack Lemmon through the antics of his son, Chris. July: Pianist Juan Pablo Subriana displayed his incredible flying fingers, playing famous classical and pop melodies for our enjoyment. Also on the playbill was Bethany Owen, "The Woman of 1001 Voices and Faces", in a comedic tribute to famous women in entertainment. Aug.: "Hollywood Revisited," displaying and sharing the history of flamboyant movie costumes from the 30s and 40s. Sept.: The Alley Cats, an a capella doo wop group, had us dancing in the aisles to familiar songs of the 50s and 60s, followed by Chris Pendleton and her "Funny Fiddle." Oct.: Derek Cameron's comedy opened the show, followed by "Timeless Melodies of the Great Bass Baritones," featuring the velvet voice of Steve Teague. Nov.: "The Golden Anniversary of The Brothers Four" brought back beautiful memories of folk music of the 50s and 60s. The line-up for 2016 includes Rock and Roll, Dixieland, and Broadway shows, and much, much more. Be sure to renew your membership for next year as soon as possible.
