From Sue Volz, Sun Laker
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cube butter
6 Tbl sugar
2 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup nuts
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with Christmas colored
sprinkles if you want to add color.
Ingredients
1 1/2 boxes General Mills Corn Chex Mix
2 cups pretzels (she likes the sticks)
2 cans of cashew pieces (or mixed nuts or whatever kind of nut you like)
2 sticks of butter (1 cup)
1 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbl seasoning salt
1 Tbl cayenne pepper
1 Tbl chili powder
1 Tbl garlic salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 275°.
Melt the butter in a roasting pan,
add the Worcestershire sauce and
the four seasonings. Mix well.
Add the dry ingredients and mix
well. "Here's the worst part: It
will be in the oven for an hour but
every 15 minutes you have to get
up out of your chair, take it out of
the oven and stir it. It makes a
ton but you can freeze it. You'll
probably need to get a storage
unit," Diane said. "It will eight or
nine of those Tupperware things."
