THE YUCAIPA GENEALOGY SOCIETY Welcome to our five
new members in the study of genealogy. Lots of wonderful workshops
and guest speakers planned for 2016. We are looking into a field trip
to the Perris Railroad Museum to have a tour of the trains and street
cars of the past and investigate their resource materials about the
transportation system of Los Angeles.
We are meeting at the Yucaipa Library, 12040 5th St., on Sat., Dec. 12
at 12 pm for a Christmas meeting and potluck luncheon. Tables will
be decorated with some ancestors memorabilia and home cooked
recipes from long ago will be shared.
Membership fees for 2016 are $20/person. Election of officers for
the 2016 board will be conducted at this meeting. Make a New Year's
resolution to be serious about documenting your family ancestry.
