First off will be a change in our monthly dinners. While the dinners continue on the last Wednesday of each month, every three months the dinner will be at the South Clubhouse and include a club provided main entrée and pot luck accompanying items from the members themselves. In addition, the evening will include Theatrical Games which will test the creativity of the members and provide enjoyment for one and all. We are looking forward to lots of fun and the inclusion of one and all in the activities. January also means the beginning of our club year and the need to pay ones dues for the upcoming year. The dues for a single member remain at $13 and $20 for a couple. Dues are payable by the end of the month and should be paid to the Treasurer, Sue Dunn, at her address 4957 Rio Bravo Drive, Banning, 92220. Don't forget the Sun Lakes Activity Day to be held in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom from 9 am to noon on Jan. 16. Our new president and other members of the club will be on hand to sign up new members and provide information about the club and its activities. Be sure to stop by the Drama Club table and get to know the talented people on hand. The Annual Classical Violin concert sponsored by the Drama Club will be presented the evening of March 20 in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom at 7 pm and the ticket price this year will include the meet and greet reception immediately afterwards with the talented performers from the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and our visiting performers from Japan. If you enjoy classical music this concert is not to be missed. The leading Violinist is Ms. Maki Sowash who is the daughter in law of Loreen Sowash a long time member of the Drama Club. If you have any interest in working with talented members of our community in the presentation of theatrical productions in any capacity be sure to come to one of our monthly meetings held on the stage side of the Main Clubhouse Ballroom at 1 pm on the first Thursday of each month.
