These 100 miles can be done by running or walking (on your own). Starting in February, we will have posters in each clubhouse where participants can log their miles. Pick the clubhouse that you frequent the most often and log your miles there. Once you reach 100 miles, there are prizes in store for you! This program will go from Feb. 1 – July 31, and you can start anytime. Pull out your pedometer or GPS and get to work! If you are able to reach 100 miles, then we encourage you to sign your name up again and try a second time for another prize. We have a maximum of two rounds per year. CoMeDy niGht Sat., Feb. 6, Main Clubhouse Ballroom, doors open at 6 pm, show at 7 pm, $7 pp. Enjoy an evening of laughs with Corporate Comedy Entertainment, featuring 3 great comedians from the Los Angeles area. They are guaranteed to make you laugh until you drop! This event will be table seating. There will be cocktail service in the Ballroom and an appetizer menu from which you can purchase from. Lottery dates are Jan. 11 – 17. You can pick up your registration forms at the Main Clubhouse Reception Desk. Checks only, limit 4 people per check, 8-10 people per table. Table assignments will be posted in the Recreation Office Hallway by January 20. BlooD Drive Tues., Feb. 16, 9 am – 2 pm, Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Sun Lakes is hosting a blood drive to support Lifestream, which is a blood bank for the San Bernardino & Riverside Counties. The donated blood goes to local hospitals in our area such as Beaver Medical, San Gorgonio, and Loma Linda. Please help us on this day by donating blood. Our goal is to have 40 people donate! If you are interested please call the reception desk and sign up for a time slot. We have time slots every 15 minutes from 9am – 2pm. The donation center will be set up inside the Multipurpose Room at the Main Clubhouse. Hope to see you there! "o' CanaDa" ConCert Sun., Feb. 21, show at 7 pm, doors open at 6 pm, $10 pp. Come and enjoy an evening with a tribute of four of the greatest singers from Canada. This is a spectacular show that will have you begging for more. This musical tribute will include: Celine Dion, Michael Buble, Paul Anka and Shania Twain. This line up has played all over the world including Carnegie Hall, Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Japan to name a few. This will be an exciting concert that you won't want to miss out on so make sure you get your tickets quickly because it will sell out. Tickets on sale now. Remember it is theater seating and it will be first come first served.
