48 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2016
Our fall tournament was Nov. 21 and we had 24 members come out
and play on a beautiful windy and sunny day. Each member played
four games and partners and opponents were randomly selected
by picking a number. At the end of the tournament, we had seven
players earn top honors. First place winners were Jesse Aceves and
Irma Peterson who tied with a total score of 44 points. Second place
winners were Janelle Von Kleist and Padoo Peralta who tied with a
score of 41 points. Third place winners were Marilyn Sachett, Dave
Thompson and Jan Pilkinton who tied with a score of 38 points.
At the conclusion of the tournament, all of the players as well as
guests met at The Summit for pizza, salads, and delicious desserts
made by Janelle Von Kleist. Ribbons were awarded as well as gift
certificates to Smitty's. A big thank you goes out to Jesse Aceves and
Nancy Barnaby who organized this tournament. What a fun event to
end the 2015 year!
We are anxiously looking forward to more courts here at Four
Seasons. As our pickle ball family grows, we will certainly put all of
the courts to good use. Open play times are 8 - 11 am on Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
