| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | February 2016 | 8 FSA sponsors two different nutritional programs for seniors 60 years of age and over. Both programs are available to anyone who meets the age requirement regardless of their financial situation. The programs are primarily sponsored by the County of Riverside but also receive funding via other fundraisers and donations. Homebound Program: FSA volunteers and staff will deliver one hot meal a day to anyone 60 or over who is homebound. The food is delivered between 10 am and 1 pm. In addition to the delivery of the meal, the daily visit by volunteers/staff provides a "welfare" check on the senior and may be the only daily personal contact that the senior receives. Congregate Meal Program: FSA serves a lunch meal daily Monday through Friday to anyone 60 or over at the San Jacinto Community Center located at 625 S. Pico Ave., San Jacinto. The food is served from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The meals are served without charge, but there is a donation box at the center with a $3 suggested donation. For more information, call (951) 342-3057. Family Service Association (FSA) Nutrition Program New Years Eve Party The word is out about the great, fun party on New Years Eve. There were 199 attendees, some were our neighbors, good friends, or family and it was fun to meet new people. You could choose from 3 menus at the time you bought your tickets. What great food the Bistro served. A great band, we danced the night away, celebrating at 9 pm for Eastern time, and Midnight for Western time. Two count down & loud noise makers and fun, fun, fun, dancing. Each took home a beautiful champagne flute, with "FOR SEASONS 2015" in beautiful etching, lots of noise makers and the best, are the great memories of the New Years Eve 2015, and ringing in the New Year 2016. Chairpersons Bill & Carolyn Ashdown, and Liasion Linda Adkins. Food chairperson, Gitana Johnson working with Marilyn Covie, & Francisco to have the best choices for delicious food. Decorations chairperson, Margie Culton with outstanding ideas guiding Bill, her master assistant, who made her ideas worked from lights twinkling, disco balls come alive around the room creating a new look for our ballroom stage. Roxy Snider, creator of the beautiful glittery tickets, and posters. Carolyn helping her to create the large poster that sat in the lobby advertising the event. A great committee each taking part to make great New Years Eve memories. Carol Fishburn, Sid & Dena Cohen, Carol Ferber, Judy Hagan all put their hearts and hard work to make it perfect, setting up and cleaning up. Louise and her staff were great to set up the Ballroom just exactly as we needed for fun & comfort. Thank you so much for that Louise.
