19 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | February 2016 | Team Sunshine is off and running in 2016 with new ideas and additional services always being implemented. For those of you new to our community, we thought we would give you a quick synopsis. Team Sunshine is a group serving their community; willing to roll up their sleeves and dig in wherever and whenever needed. A team dedicated to helping their neighbors. We strive to assist other community groups at Four Seasons and we donate time to others whenever possible. We invite your participation as we embark upon the many new ventures scheduled to be implemented this year. This month we are pleased to present our guest speaker, Jane Farmer. Jane has delivered a comprehensive and interesting Alzheimer's/Dementia program to the community in the past. She has also participated at several of our health clinics. We hope you will calendar Feb. 17 at 3 pm in the Ballroom for this special presentation. Your continued support of our monthly presentations ensures the continuation and success of our programs. Our monthly programs range from pertinent medical information and health fairs to Veteran presentations, with a variety of programs in between. Stay tuned! We are certain you will be delighted with our 2016 line up! In January, Kathleen Mazzone's Celebration of Life took place in Huntington Beach. We were notified of two other passings: Dennis Malarkey and John Gall. We know all are held close in the hearts of their families and friends. We send our deepest condolences to all and continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Not only is Team Sunshine dedicated to reaching out to all during the painfully transitional times in our lives; but we have a prayer group that keeps your personal challenges held in prayer with well wishes for you and your loved ones. Follow-up phone calls are made and cards sent as our team works diligently to meet your needs during difficult times. Our team loves a party! We had such a great time and we hope all of you did as well, celebrating our 90+ year-olds birthday gala. It warms our hearts to share in their special celebrations. Their lives and accomplishments are astounding. What a blessing they are to us all. Please fill out a needs form at the Lodge front desk if you know of someone who needs assistance. The Multipurpose Room/Card Room has current Team Sunshine contact information. "It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving."― Mother Teresa Team Sunshine
