| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | February 2016 | 26 Bocce The Bocce Club will sponsor an 8-week game on Thursdays starting March 10 and ending April 28. This event is called the Bocce Scramble and requires two players for each team. This is played similar to Shuffleboard with two players at each end of the courts. The cost is $5 for each player for awards and a barbecue at the end of the season. Each two person team will have 35 minutes to play and each league is scheduled with 10 minutes between each league. The first league is scheduled for 9:30 am, second league is scheduled for 10:15 am, third League at 11 am, and if needed the fourth League will be at 11:45 am. A sign up league sheet will be placed at the information counter as you enter the Lodge on the left first counter Area. The celebration will be a barbecue, which you will need to bring a side dish and we will try and provide hot dogs with all the toppings by the club depending on money available. Hopefully a nice sunny day for picture taking. Anyone who wishes to play can sign up and will be given rules of the game that day and no special training or experience is needed for the Scramble games. The sign up for this will start Feb. 1 and will end March 3. The game is easy and requires no skill other than tossing a ball down a bocce court to the other side. Players on the opposite side will determine which color balls are closer to the small white ball which is the target. Please fill each time slot starting with 9:30 am first. The sign up will have your preference of start time but is not a guarantee depending on the players that have filled each time slot. Remember that all players must be a resident of Four Seasons.
