Paisano means "friend" in Italian and many people who join are of different ethnicities, but we can assure you we are definitely American. We are a club that is about 150 strong, which meets on the first Friday of each month; we gather for a short meeting, continued with congenial conversation, dine like kings and queens and then have some of the best entertainment Sun Lakes and local talent has to offer. So Happy March… Our theme for this month is Saint Patrick's Day, so don't forget to wear green. The dinner is on March 4, at the South Clubhouse doors open at 5:30 pm (not before) the price is $15 pp, also our membership dues are $15 pp. We will need everyone's name on or attached to checks. Please drop off checks to Provi's at 630 Twin Hills Dr., or call her at 845-1601. The menu for March is corned beef and cabbage with all the trimmings and of course dessert. Coffee and water provided, you are welcome to BYOB. Entertainment for March will be a magician! In April our theme is Spring Fling! Dinner is Fri., April 1 at the South Clubhouse. As always, doors open at 5:30 pm, price $15 pp. Due to limitations in seating (per fire code), first 100 people to get checks in will have seating. Drop off checks at Provi's 630 Twin Hills Dr. (box out front). The dinner is going to be a Spring Fling Delight. And as always water and coffee will be provided, you are welcome to BYOB. Entertainment: Diversity, our own Sun Lakes group, will be dancing. Just a note: if your check is paying for two people please write the other name on your checks. We also ask that you pay for membership on a separate check. Again if you membership check is paying for two paying for two people write their name on the check. The Paisano Club where everyone is welcome and all are considered friends! Paisano Club We meet March 3 and 17 at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month. Our summer meetings (July, August, and September) are held only on the third Thursday of these months. The club is for persons of all computer skill levels. Each meeting will feature various topics and speakers. Handouts are given out for each presentation so you can take notes. This is a great way to share information and learn some of the ways in becoming an effective computer user. Upcoming Topics: March 3: Computer storage? Files, folders, disks, and flash drives etc. March 17: How to back up data on your computer? What do you mean it crashed? April: Internet Part 1 and Internet Part 2: How do trees get on the Internet? They log in. Thanks to the team from Best Buy for coming to our February meeting and giving a very informative presentation about cell phones, and tablets. We were invited to come to the store if we had any more questions. Membership dues are $20 per year per household. Guests are welcome. At the meetings we raffle off a gift card to a lucky attendee.
