Home Again Bowling After 21 weeks of bowling in the current 32 week season schedule we find team 5 "Dolls and Balls" in first place with 59 win points and 25 loss points. Teri McLean, Kathy Snider, Ben Snider and Tony McLean have a 4 1/2 point lead over team 11, Nancy Turner, Beverly Barrette and Al Turner. Ten weeks of league bowling plus sweepstakes remain so there is still time for a "Silky Sullivan" come from behind run to the finish! Let's go to the whip! Some fantastic scores have been turned in recently and our top three handicap men have been putting on a great show. High average is 203.14 for Frank Mashburn. He had had recent scratch scores of 266, 264, 234 and 215 in the past couple of weeks. Second high men's average Bob McLean at 194.27 has scored 237, 232, 224 and 203. Rick Waters holds third high average and recorded 224, 221, 212 and 214 games. Bob and Rick dueled head to head in exciting competition with Frank Mashburn on the next pair of lanes scoring 264, 267 and 167. Lots of "Atta Boys" going on! Frank's second game started off with seven strikes in a row! Wow - what excitement! In the women's action, Louise Deal had a first game of 201 and a second game 192 which gave her a 749 total with handicap. "Atta a girl Louise!" Kathy Snider turned in a 700 series with handicap, but was topped by her husband's 203 scratch game and 773 series with handicap! Whoppie! Let's keep on having fun as the weather warms up! Maybe we will need to turn on the fans again? Good luck and good scoring bowlers!
