| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2016 | 45 TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Our TOPS theme for 2016 – 2017 is "TOPS is a Life Saver"! When we think of "lifesavers" we often picture lifeguards, policemen, firemen, and doctors. In reality, we are all in a position to save lives. In fact, the life you save may be your own! Losing weight takes personal commitment and a decision to do things differently, which can be difficult to maintain on your own. The collective goal to lose weight is a powerful force. Drive and energy generated by TOPS group of like minded individuals can inspire and motivate you. March is a very exciting month for our TOPS chapter, packed full of wonderful programs and events. Our yearly awards will be held on March 24th celebrating the Best Losers of 2015. We will be crowning our Chapter Royalty, recognizing all of our winners in each weight division and honoring all KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly). A key element that sets TOPS apart from other weight groups is our recognition. Celebrating our members' success is important weather they are losing or maintaining their goal. Congratulations to Agna Harper for reaching her weight goal and becoming our newest KOPS and also to Jan Sandberg for being a Reinstated KOPS. The following members are Best Losers for the month: Judy Gold, Carol McKinney, Ruth Bray, Lillie Brown, Janet Contreras, Judy Garthwaite, Marla Henrich, Carol Kreckow, Charlene Fink, Alan Gold, Bernie Smith, Eileen Swope, Janice Walsh, Carol White. KOPS (Keep Off Pound Sensibly) are: Alma Bolla, Linda Callahan, Audrey Carey, Agna Harper, Donna Leone, Dorothy Monterville, Ann Oliver, Jan Sandberg, and Rosalee Strong. Great job! Sun Lakes residents are invited to attend one TOPS meeting Free of Charge. TOPS yearly membership is only $32 with TOPS magazines. Chapter dues are $3 a month. We are affordable! We meet on Thursday at the South Clubhouse with weigh-ins starting at 9 to 9:50 am and meeting 10 - 11 am. Come join us, we are here for YOU!
