FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2016 33 We meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Craft Room at the Lodge. The next meeting is March 15. Visitors are always welcome. We invite all photographers, regardless of skill level, to join us for our regular meetings and field trips. In addition, we have guest speakers and workshops. For example, in our January meeting, our guest speaker was world-renowned professional photographer Felix Marquez. He has been our guest speaker in prior meetings. This time, he not only helped to critique our photography giving many tips and suggestions, but also gave lots of inspiration with the master class he prepared for us that evening. No promises yet, but we are working with Felix for a free 2 ½ day workshop in March. Fingers crossed. For the February meeting, the assignment was threefold. Take a picture of an animal, the fountain outside the back door of the Lodge and the windmill at Crooked Creek. We then discussed and conducted a constructive critique, especially the various styles we all used with the common structures of the windmill and fountain as the photographs were taken at various times of the day and month with different lighting conditions and angles. Come visit us; we have a lot of fun and learning planned. Members enjoy social, cultural and religious get-togethers, connect to other organizations in-and-around the community, engage in exciting seasonal celebrations, and attend Lodge and private home settings to taste varieties of Far Eastern and Mediterranean foods and drinks, as well as attend festive holiday neg Shabbat (dessert). We plan outstanding, joyous celebrations of events around Thanksgiving, the Harvest Festival, Passover, Purim, and Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. Members have attended movie nights, holiday celebrations, and committee meetings at private homes to plan events in Redlands and Sun Lakes, as well as meetings at our Lodge Card Room, on various occasions 6 to 8:30 pm. All are welcome.
