The Happy Campers RV Club recently
enjoyed a fun-filled trip to Lake Havasu,
Arizona for the annual Hot Air Balloon
Festival. After spending a couple
days "dry camping" many of the club
members went off to different locations
to continue camping at sites with full hook-ups to replenish fresh
water and dump holding tanks. Then, they were off for a few more
days of dry camping at Quartzsite, Arizona.
There are several outings planned for 2016:
• May 15-19: Trip to Chula Vista marina RV park (south bay San
Diego)
This trip still has openings, so if you are interested, contact Linda
Wetter.
• Aug. 14-18: Trip to Golden Shore RV Resort, Long Beach.
This trip is currently sold out, but contact Linda Bryan if you want
to be on a waiting list.
• Sometime in October, we will be making a short trip to a very
nice campground near Temecula. It's called Tucalota, and details are
pending.
We welcomed new club members, Jim and Chris Podzimek at our
February meeting, and we look forward to their participation on our
upcoming trips. Our next club meeting will be Sat., March 5 in the
Lodge Multipurpose Room.
