Neighborhood Watch
24 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | april 2016
We want to thank all that came to our awesome special event on
the evening of March 9. It replaced our usual 10 am bi-
monthly meeting and was well attended. Thanks also
to Eric Zarr for all of his assistance to us in setting
up this event.
Our Interim City Manager Elizabeth Gibbs
gave an update on the state of the city.
Items covered were CFD's, hot topics which
included: District Attorney Investigation,
Union Bank subpoena, State Controller's Office,
Procurement Process, RFP Process, Accounting
Software, Internal Controls, Standing Financial
Committee. You can type in online to the City of
Beaumont, CA and go onto the Transparency Portal for
more information on these topics.
The city staffing levels were addressed, CFD Reconciliation
by Michael Busch and their findings will be out the first
week of May. More on CFDs can be found on the City
of Beaumont's website.
The Bond summary was discussed for Four
Seasons pre-payments and they are working on
the correct dollar amount.
There is a calendar for all city meetings listed on
the City of Beaumont website for all future updates.
Please feel free to attend these to know what is going
on.
Please keep a watch on this column for our upcoming
events. ~ Susan Wilson
