6 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2016 A slate of district delegates has been elected for the HOA Board election this month. The delegates cast the votes that elect the Board members, much like the Electoral College in U.S. Presidential elections, but with an important difference. In districts where a majority of households fail to vote, the delegate casts the district's entire voting power as he or she sees fit. It is possible a single delegate could decide a close election. The district delegates and their alternates are: District 1, Martha Franck and Del Lyles, Sr.; District 2, Randy Balt and Bill Guy; District 3, Betty Ann James and Donald Fant; District 4, Fred Weck and Niles Sundstrom; District 5, Cheri Howard and Marion Herron; District 6, Brian Anderson and Howard Lyon; District 7, Joyce Tautrim and Lynette Simonson; District 8, Tom Halley and Pat Hilles, and District 9, Janet Hession, and Cathy Rivera. The alternate acts only in the absence of the delegate You can find your district on the chart to the right.
