The Dog Owners Group (D.O.G.) is off to a grrrrrrreat
start and is growing larger each month. FSB office staff
tells me that we are now the largest special interest group
at Four Seasons Beaumont!
We had another successful meeting in February. We
also signed up nine new members at the meeting. This is a
brief summary of topics discussed at the meeting.
• Discussion of what it takes to maintain a
successful dog exercise yard.
• DOG member Martha has created a private
Facebook page for DOG members to participate.
• DOG member Linda Dixon of Linda's Rover
Achievers will be conducting beginning dog obedience
training every Wednesday at 10 am at Seneca Springs Park
which is directly across the street from the FSB main gate.
• Creation of a survey to be submitted to DOG members to gain
additional information on our members, their dogs, and their
needs.
• Discussed the requirements for posting DOG
notices on the board outside the Theater and at
the Summit
Check with the front desk at the Lodge for
meeting location. Please invite your friends
who have an interest in enriching their
relationship with their dog to our meetings.
Remember all DOG members support
being ambassadors of goodwill at FSB.
Remember all dogs must be on a leash
while on pathways and trails Remember
to always clean up after your dog and
deposit any waste in the waste stations that are
provided along the paths and trail. Remember
to always keep your dog under control at all times Remember to
keep your dog away from other pedestrians and other dogs unless
specifically invited to interact.
