This year's Sun Lakes Charity Week is well into in the planning stages and there are a lot of
great events! Mark your calendars for June 20-26 for an exciting week of fun and festivities
– Rio style! Bright, bold, and brimming with enthusiasm, our Rio Celebration, is a nod
to the Brazilian Olympics and their themes of teamwork, celebration and success. This
year's event will be full of all three and we want you to be a part of it!
Since its inception in 1991 Sun Lakes Charity Week has grown into a
week-long community affair that's raised over ONE MILLION DOLLARS
for local Pass area charities.
This signature event includes three very different golf tournaments, a tennis
competition, bocce ball, the pancake breakfast and helicopter ball drop,
our festive fashion show and luncheon, and a casino night on Friday,
followed by fireworks on the driving range. There's something for
everyone and with your support, we intend to "go for the gold" and
throw the best party ever!
Residents will receive an informational letter along with tickets for the raffle and
helicopter ball drop in the mail shortly. There will also be more information regarding
each of the events in Lifestyles and in the Sun Lakes Life newspaper. Watch channel 97 or
pick up flyers in the Main Clubhouse for more information over the coming weeks.
You won't want to miss this week-long party and it's a worthwhile way to help the charities
that serve our community.
