I hope that many of you stopped by our table at the Spring Craft Fair last month. Sew What? Club is adjusting to new leadership and we are glad that so many new residents have been stopping by to check us out! Please have patience as we adjust and we welcome people who can bring ideas for other projects we might consider. It is such a worthy group who give of their time to make all the items we give away to the hospitals and groups that work with children as well as items for cancer patients and our veterans. Any items we cannot use we do pass on to the Banning School district and also Pass Resource Center in Beaumont. WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF YARN – OUR BINS ARE EMPTY! So if you are doing some spring cleaning and you come across any yarn you no longer need or want, we will put it to good use. You can drop it off anytime in the Arts and Crafts Room and place it on the metal table to the left of the door. Thanks! Sew What? Club WHAT? A gathering of like- minded craftspeople WHEN? If you have tried and encountered a block, help is at your fingertips. Share something original; read us a letter, a story or poem even if it is not original. Inspiration comes from everywhere and you never know who you will motivate, including yourself. Feel free to attend our meeting as a participant or observer. There is a generous amount of kindness, interest and goodwill to go around and the price has already been paid. Are you out of excuses yet? Then why not show up! We meet the first Monday of the month in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room from 3 to 5 pm. Our second meeting is in the North Clubhouse on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
