He continued singing as background music throughout the dinner. His variety is quite expansive and thoroughly liked by all. He also encouraged people to get up and dance. Thomas Catering provided a fabulous old fashioned pot roast dinner with all the trimmings and red velvet cake for an appropriate Valentines dessert. A special thanks goes to Pat Corrall for providing the Valentine's decorations for the tables which absolutely set the atmosphere. Our April Mexican enchiladas dinner is also catered and your $10 is due to Sandee by March 31. Her contact number is 797-3201. There will be no gathering in May. We meet the second Saturday of each month (except May) at 3 pm at the South Clubhouse. For information contact Barb at 845-7904 or Mary at 949-226-4800. We are hard at work to finalize routines for our July 15-16 showcase. The two hour show features eight Stardust numbers as well as many invited guest performers. They will also perform in the international dance show, and the Sun Lakes Follies. A newly formed costume committee will be implementing designs for these shows. All costumes are paid for by receipts from their showcase. Members of the group sew and decorate the costumes worn. Emily Alvarez has served as head seamstress for many years. Headpiece specialists are Carol Hurt, Florence Morck and Peggy Frederick. Also on the committee is Mary Huffman, Maureen Heyen, Penny Skog and Evelyn Hawkins. Put show dates on your calendar and see the end results. Stardust Dancers Makula Hula group has been teaching hula lessons for free in Sun Lakes for about 15 years. If you would like to become part of our group, and enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian and Tahitian dances that we present, please contact Olga Marquette at (951) 846-3579. It is fun and good exercise. We meet on Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 noon at the North Clubhouse and on Saturdays from 8 am to 10 am at the stage in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Aloha!. Makula Hula
