11 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2016 | Community Awareness Committee March has come in like a lion this year! Two issues dominate the committee discussion, public safety initiative and voting districts for city council members We will be scheduling special meetings for the residents within the next few weeks. Many questions will be addressed and we encourage your attendance at those sessions as soon as they can be calendared. We will notify you shortly of the dates and times. Many comments are appearing on "Nextdoor" and I caution all of us to maintain a calm perspective. It is obvious that there are many who don't have the facts and I humbly request that you reserve your judgement until the informational meetings can be held. There will be time to have your questions answered and your concerns addressed. The owners of the northwesterly property above Weir met with us briefly, but were not prepared for the many questions we raised. We invited them to return with their engineer. This is going to be a very busy year for CAC. If you would like to participate or just attend our meeting, we welcome you the first Monday of every month at 3 pm in the Conference Room. I would like to take a moment to say how much I treasure the contributions of Allan Jaffe to this committee. His heart and soul are with us as we move forward but his presence, wisdom and sense of humor are greatly missed. ~ Robin Lowe, Chair
