28 | OCEAN HILLS NEWS | APRIL 2016 | The Racquet Club meeting scheduled for March 9 was canceled. Instead, members were brought up to date on "all things Racquet Club" via an emailed "Letter from the President," Herb Livsey. Also, like all other clubs at OHCC, our Bylaws were brought up to date to accept the new "OHCC Social Clubs Corporation" Rules and Regulations, and our members were sent a copy of that new document. All new documents are also available at our website http://ohccracquetclub. wix.com/racquet Our Saturday morning "beginning pickleball" lessons ended, but pickleball training classes will begin again in early May and go through October. Exact start date will be announced to our membership via email, and the general public will learn of those classes in the May Observer. Tennis lessons are being held by Patty Coffey, and several residents are thankful for Patti's generosity with her time and knowledge. April 13 and 27 are the final two lessons, from 3 to 4 pm at Tennis Court #2 and #3 respectively. Come out and join the group to "step up your game." Everyone is welcome! Our Thursdays, 10:30 am to noon drop-in sessions are continuing to go well at Tennis Courts #3-4! April 16 is the date reserved for our "Ladies and Men's Doubles Tennis Tournament," but as of this writing, no one has come forward to head up this event. Ever wonder why our News articles do not seem quite "up to date?" It is because our new publisher's deadline is now the 6th of each month, for an article that will not be read by you until the 1st of the following month. So any news from the 6th to the 31st of the previous month will not be reported until the following News issue…aha! That explains it!
