Our current activities are as follows:
Mon., April 11, 6:30 pm, Abravanel Hall: Regular monthly
meeting. Joe Ashby and Dee Wardell will give a presentation on their
trip to Mongolia.
Mark your calendars for upcoming trips. Dates are firm but prices
and details will follow in the next few months. Check the monthly
Travel Club newsletter, which can be found in the Trips Racks in the
Clubhouse or on the OHCC website at www.oceanhillscountryclub.
com.
Thurs., April 21: Huntington Library. $143 with English Tea
Luncheon; $103 with lunch on your own at the Gardens Café.
Thurs., May 12: "The Pallette" Culinary School and Balboa
Park. Activities TBD.
Thurs., June 23: Annual Vets and Travel Club Combined Trip –
USS Iowa in San Pedro.
Mon., July 4: "Fireworks on San Diego Bay" at the Maritime
Museum, on the steamboat Berkeley.
Mon., Sept. 26: "The Hubble House" and Julian activities.
Detailed flyers on all trips sponsored by the Travel Club are
located in the Trip racks at the Clubhouse. If you are not a Travel
Club member, add an additional $5 per person to the price of the
trip. All our day trips leave from the Overflow Parking Lot in a
comfortable tour bus. You may sign up for trips by leaving a check
in the Travel Club envelope at the Front Desk of the Clubhouse at
any time. Unless otherwise noted, all trips are coordinated by
Heidi Boynton, omaboynton5@gmail.com. The Travel Club annual
membership dues are $9 per person.
