Sally White, our "Piano-Girl Extraordinaire" is coming back to play her heart out and invite us to sing with her, in the Lobby on Friday, May 6 at 6 pm. It's great to get the Four Seasons family together for a little harmonious fun. Everyone is welcome. May seems to be a little slower month than some with magic in the air, lots of sunshine and lots of private parties. Speaking of magic, our incredibly generous International Brotherhood of Magicians will be back at Four Seasons doing a free magic show in the Lodge Movie Theater on Saturday, May 14. They will be offering two shows (6:30 pm and 7:30 pm) on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign ups for the two evening shows will be at the Lodge front desk starting Monday, May 9 . This is a great show to bring the grandkids to! The next magic opportunity won't be until August, so come on down while you can. Just a note… the show is free, but if you like these shows we encourage you to put a little something in the "donation location" by the Theater door, to help defer the magician's gas expenses. Many of them are driving quite a distance. The Amphitheater Concert Series starts this month; check out their article on page 39. If you are new to the community and have never been to the Amphitheater, let me tell you where it is. The Amphitheater venue is out behind the Lodge near the tennis courts. Go check it out if you haven't been there before to get your bearings before the concert. Be aware too, that folks tend to come a bit early to put their chairs in position. We don't encourage it, but it does happen, so don't come at 6:55 pm and think there will be a lot of space to choose from. Pool parties are also popular during Amphitheater concert time, because you can barbecue while listening to all the great music. Just another music party option for your listening enjoyment! Feel like dancing this month for free? How about a "free expression" dance night called "Desert Boogie Dance" in the Ballroom on Friday evening the 20th at 5:30 pm? Wear comfortable clothes and feel free to bring your dinner and drinks in with you.
