20 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2016 Bistro Committee The Bistro Committee met on March 22. We discussed the kitchen repairs. The two latch handles for the refrigerator have been replaced. The Finance Committee has approved purchase of the drink and dessert cooler for the Bistro. Mr. Appliance has been approved for the installation and the vendor with the best pricing will receive the order for the cooler itself. Two industrial- grade Sharp microwave ovens have been purchased and received. A preventative maintenance company needs to be found to service the kitchen. A prospective vendor has been identified and management will call the vendor and set up an appointment for interview. The committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 11 am in the Lodge Conference Room. All homeowners are invited to attend. ~ Bill Taylor The Finance Committee held its regular meeting on March 29. The minutes from the February meeting were presented and approved. Agenda items for the May meeting include reserve study proposals and committee term limit review. Our next regularly scheduled meeting will be May 31 at 1 pm in the Lodge Conference Room. Currently there is one position open on the finance committee. If you have an interest I suggest you obtain an application form from the front desk in the Lodge, complete it and return it to the front desk. We ask that you then attend three meetings after which we will contact you for an interview. ~ Noel Myers Finance Committee Social Committee The Social Committee, at this writing, is busily handcrafting place setting adornments for their long-awaited Fashion Show in April. I can't wait to tell you more about how it goes in the next issue of the Breeze! The next big Social Committee affair is the June Luau. I'm actually going to Hawaii in May just to be sure we execute this event with as much authenticity as possible. There's nothing like "Taking it for the team!" Committee chair Melody Seewoster has an amazing Island caterer arranged, complete with a smoked pit-cooked pig and all the delicious tropical side dishes. The committee also plans on having some special surprises including beautiful island dancing girls and a "hunky" (not "honky") Fire Dancer Show! You do not want to miss this one for only $30 per ticket and you'll save all of the airfare that it would have cost you to fly to Hawaii to enjoy one. Tickets go on sale Monday morning May 16 at 10 am at the Lodge Lobby. I do not know how fast the tickets will sell out, but if you still go to work around that time, you might want to appoint a neighbor to go buy your tickets for you. I'm looking forward to seeing you there! ~ Cindy Graves for the committee
