I know that for you, it was an "add on" to the many other things that you did, including your family, other volunteer opportunities and your social life. I appreciate that you were willing to serve and I always valued your time and your input. Thank you for bringing your passion, intellect, insight, experience and resources to the table. Thank you for challenging me and your fellow Board members to always put the community needs and requirements before your own. I appreciate that you used all of your experience, skills, knowledge and education to move our organization forward. It is with my sincere gratitude that I thank you for your service to our community. COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We continue to look for committee volunteers. If you are interested in serving on one of the committees, please complete a Committee Candidate Form and return it to the Lodge or Management office. The forms are available at the Lodge and management office, or the community website. NO SOLICITING We have been receiving a number of calls from our residents that fellow homeowners are soliciting their business in the community. Please note that the association does not permit soliciting, door-to-door or in person, in the community. LODGE RENOVATIONS The Ad Hoc Interior Renovation Committee has completed the proposed Lodge interior renovations plan. The exhibits have been displayed in the Lodge and on the community website. The committee is asking for homeowner feedback by May 15. Please submit your comments to the Lodge or Management Office. You may also email your recommendations to Jeri Mupo at jeri.mupo@ fsresidential.com. HOMEOWNER SUGGESTIONS & RESPONSE THE LODGE: Please paint numbers on the shuffleboard courts. Obtaining cost. Could we use a fob to get in to the exercise rooms at any hours during the day or night? This could record who enters but allow us to go in a 5 am or 9 pm which is more convenient. I know the fitness centers at other places do this. (We work). Obtaining cost for additional staff time. Please extend closing time at the Summit to be either 8 or 9 pm as 7 pm is too early. Believe many of my neighbors have already requested. Kindly do not ignore as it is helpful for all to be able to exercise more. Obtaining cost for additional staff time. Have Lodge senior management prepare a "Fact Sheet" every Friday or following Monday that gives abbreviated info of key events taking place in the upcoming week to keep the new staff members up to speed. Lately I've had two instances in one week where neither of the two new girls on the Front Desk could answer the most basic questions about District Delegate elections. Daily fact sheet will be prepared for daily happenings. Further information would need to be received to address the "basic question" comment. Install flashing light at stop sign at Mesa Verde and circle to minimize running of stop sign. Referred to Safety & Facilities Committee. Would really like Tai Chi class. Class costs have been provided to the homeowners that have signed the interest list. Carmen Lopez is trying to find an instructor in the price range the interested homeowners are willing to pay. Get rid of ducks in the pool. Department of Fish and Game have advised us we are not allowed to touch the ducks. The staff encourage the ducks to leave by shooing, air horn, or any other means without physical contact. Please keep TVs in Lodge and Summit off of Fox News. Sports, food, travel, anything else. It is offensive to some residents. The TVs are set to the Food Channel or HGTV; however, if a resident requests a specific channel, we have been instructed to change it. Please help me add another language installed in computers of MS Word (just like Chinese version). Instruction is available to change the language on the computers. Please see the management office. THE SUMMIT: When is the pace clock going to be moved to a more appropriate place? A cart has been purchased to make the clock mobile. Awaiting the cart. Rubber coat lock latches. Staff is researching how to complete coating the lock latches.
