Attention: Changes for our June performance. Sadly, we have been
unable to secure the license to produce The Odd Couple for our June
benefit performance with the Sunshine Team. However, the good
news is that we have found three really good radio shows, never done
by us before. So we will have an old time radio night instead. Many
of you have requested that we bring back the radio shows. We will be
doing Baby Snooks and Daddy, Dragnet, and My Favorite Husband,
which was the precursor to the I Love Lucy series on TV. I was able to
find the first show for My Favorite Husband done in 1948 with Lucille
Ball and Richard Denning. It is very funny. Also we are including a
very funny skit written by Don Ortega entitled, The Dreaded Robo
Phone Call.
There will be wonderful desserts and door prizes. Since the radio
shows are free for us to perform (unlike plays that usually cost $200
or so), this means that more money will go to the Sunshine Team for
their valuable work. In the July Hemet Herald we will let you all know
the exact amount that we earned for Sunshine so you can share in the
joy of doing this great work. Tickets are on sale now. We look forward
to seeing you in June ready to laugh, relax and enjoy the fellowship of
your fellow Four Seasons friends.
This is Emilie Ortega saying, "See you around the campus."
