14 OUR YUCAIPA | MAY 2016 The city of Yucaipa will offer two exciting summer camps for kids in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. Sports and Splash Camps offer incredible opportunities for kids to explore and beat the summer heat. Activities include scavenger hunts, games, team challenges, arts and crafts and recreational swimming. Pick either Splash Camp at 12385 7th St., or Sports Camp at 34900 Oak Glen Rd. Kick off is June 9 and 10. 2016 session dates are: June 13-17 Pirates & Mermaids June 20-24 Minute to win it June 27-July 1 X Factor July 5-8 Top Chef July 11-15 Mad science July 18-22 Superhero July 25-29 Movin' & Groovin Aug. 1-5 Olympics Aug. 8-10 Carnival Cost is $90 per week or $36 for two days per week. Arrowbear strives to develop a deeper love and understanding of music by giving campers a balanced program of music which includes playing, singing, listening, and learning about composers, musicians, etc. Arrowbear is 15 minutes down the hill from Big Bear and offers dates throughout summer for a variety of music lessons.
