| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2016 | 33
We meet every 1st, 3rd, and (5th) Monday of
the month at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Arts and
Crafts Room. All Sun Lake quilters are welcome, as
well as those interested in learning to quilt. Come
check us out. There are no club fees.
Show and share is always a treat and
inspirational. Please bring any spring quilts,
blocks, or any others quilt items you want to share.
Bring in your sewing machines, hand sewing, or
whatever UFO (unfinished objects) you would like
to work on. Suggestions for projects or demos are
always welcome. We have the room until 5 pm so
plenty of time to set up and get some things done.
Info., Sharon Blackburn, 324-0146 or email

0575.
Sun Lakes Quilters
Let me begin by thanking the ladies who have donated yarn. It will always be put to
good use making lap robes and baby blankets both of which are donated to either the
veterans or to the San Gorgonio Hospital. We are always in need so please keep us in
mind when coming across yarn you no longer want. Now what we could use are people
who love to sew as we have several types of items that require someone with sewing
skills and there are only a few of us at this point in our group who do. The jobs are not
complicated and we supply all that is needed such as thread, fabric and miscellaneous
items for whatever project that is being worked on. Several ladies work from home
and just stop in to pick up more items to work on and deliver what they completed.
So if you are looking for something to take up your Tuesday afternoon from 12:45 to
2 pm, stop by and see us and as always if you need items picked up please give Gail a
call at 797-3589 or just leave your items on the metal desk in the Arts and Crafts Room.
