| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2016 | 39 There was no dimension and there was no measurement to the depth of our sea. The water was wide. I can still hear her voice, sometimes I have no choice. So she talks to me her words are so clear, talk to me. Let me hear, tell me one more time, you sound so near. She was my childhood companion. I wanted to play Mother May I and put her in my pocket so she would be warm and safe. When we were in school she was my recess, my lunch, my hand-in-hand slow walk home. She was my playfulness, my gladness, and at times she was my sadness. There was no dimension and there was no measurement to the depth of our sea. The water was wide. She was my bona fide, my breathlessness, my high-ness, my tender-hearted-ness. She was my nearly perfect-ness, my caress, my kiss, my gen-e-sis. And at times she was my stubborn-ness, my princess, my kindness, may talk-a-tive-ness. There was no dimension and there was no measurement to the depth of our sea. The water was wide. She was my bride. My fruitful-ness, the mother of my daughter and the mother of my son. My pride. She was my queen. My success, my business, my thriftiness, she would pray and interceded. And look beyond my faults to see my need. My un-foolish-ness, my unworldly-ness, my willing-ness. She was never the reason for my high treason. She was my forgiveness. My righteousness. My gold-li-ness, my divorce-less-ness, my age-less-ness. My everlasting loveliness. There was no dimension and there was no measurement to the depth of our sea. The water was wide. She was a permanent fixture at my side, that only death would divide. And now she is my lone-li-ness. ~ Author, Joel Williams We meet the first Monday of the month in the Main Clubhouse, Multipurpose Room from 3 to 5 pm.
