TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)
What makes TOPS different from other organizations,
groups, and companies that deal with weigh-loss
issues? TOPS is, in fact, different from all of
them. We rely on our personal physicians for
their expert advice, we stress sensibleness, we
offer freedom of choice, we stress moderation
in all things, we offer rewards, we honor
maintenance, and we are affordable. TOPS
is not a company, it is not a business or
a brand. TOPS is real people⦠caring,
giving people, who band together to help and
support each other to lead healthier lives. We
accept each other as we are and encourage
each other to succeed.
TOPS is a Life Saver!
We invite you to become part of our TOPS family. We
meet at the South Clubhouse each Thursday with weigh-ins starting
at 9 am and meeting from 10 to 11 am. You may visit once free of
charge. Membership is $32 a year with $3 monthly chapter dues
which includes six TOPS magazines a year.
Best Losers for the month are: Judy Gold, Ginny DeBry, Sandy
Smith, Suzanne Strauss, Helga Sieg, Joy Bailey, Grace Franklin-Sims,
Bernie Smith, Karen Struchen, Alan Gold, Lillie Brown, and Diana
Newman.
KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) in good
standing are: Alma Bolla, Linda Callahan, Lauren
Cutner, Agna Harper, Donna Leone, Dorothy
Monterville, Ann Oliver, Jan Sandberg and
Rosalee Strong. Congratulations on your
success!
Thanks to everyone that visited our
TOPS table at the Senior Health Fair on May
12. Our goal is to help Sun Lakers become
healthier and more active by losing weight
and keeping it off. TOPS is here for you!
TOPS State Recognition Days will be held
in San Diego from June 2 to 4. Our chapter
will have 10 members attending. Barb Cady,
TOPS Club Inc. President, will be one of our
keynote speakers.
Thanks to all members for making TOPS Closet a big success. All
items were sold for $1 each. The monies help defray cost for members
attending our State Convention.
Congratulations to Donna Leone for walking 200 miles in the Sun
Lakes 100 mile walk.
