The Social Committee pulled it off again with another fabulous
Fashion Show event! There was so much involved with this event that
most people are unaware of. Starting with the ticket sales team; of
me, Mary Primack, Nelly Allocar and Danya Lynd with our pre-game
meeting, we made sure that the mega-phone had new batteries (For
crowd control and my fun) and the numbers were ready for residents
to take before getting in line. The table seating charts needed to be
as correct as possible, as well as all the other forms we needed to fill
out for ticket sales. Mary does hand and finger exercises for weeks in
advance to be sure she can write fast enough on the big whiteboard
as the tickets are being sold and seats are being crossed off. There
are so many challenges with ticket sales to be sure to keep everything
straight for everyone. This year, instead of having ticket sales on a
week day at 8 am, we tried to better accommodate those gals who are
still working, by holding the opening ticket sales day on a Saturday
