April came in like a lamb and went out like an El Niño. Our
monthly Play Day was rained out, leaving me with little to write
about. So it wasn't all bad.
Though we didn't have the Play Day, Barbara Miller has again
organized the Thursday night social tennis with starting times at
6 pm and 7 pm, on the second and fourth Thursdays each month.
Contact Barbara and she will arrange doubles for the interested
players. If you are interested, let Barbara know the Sunday before,
and she will match folks up. As the other players will be counting on
a match, please keep your commitment to play, barring unforeseen
circumstances.
Weather permitting, there will also be the Play Day starting at 8:30
am on the last Saturday of the month. All tennis playing residents
are welcome to come out and play. Our website is www.fsbrc.org. ~
