Happy June! We start the month off with a little singing and dancing starting with the Desert Boogie Dance which is a free opportunity for creative movement and free dance expression on Friday, June 3 at 5:30 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. Feel free to bring your dinners in with you. Next karaoke is early this month on Saturday, June 4 at 5:30 pm in the Ballroom as well. I want to encourage all of you karaoke queens and kings to not only have a terrific time that night, but to be sure to use it as warm up for another sing-along piano night with Sally White on Friday, June 10 at 6 pm. We sure had a great time in May singing our little hearts out and don't we have some excellent resident singers? I love these nights, because it's such a delightful Four Seasons family night. There's nothing like singing shoulder to shoulder with some of our favorite neighbors. A couple of other nifty things to be looking for this month is the Salon's Summer Moonlight massages and special workshops. Be sure to find their advertisement and check them out. Wouldn't a massage be especially relaxing and luxurious in a private, fresh air setting, ohhh yeah! Calling all crafters! Your mandatory Craft Fair meeting is coming up on Wednesday, June 15 at 6 pm. This is where you will pull a table number for the Craft Fair table lottery and get your orientation packet to be in the Oct. 15 Craft Fair held from 10 am to 2 pm. There is huge interest to be in this fair. So if you want to participate, you must be at this mandatory meeting or send a representative to go for you. The participation fee is $5 and goes toward advertising costs. Please bring a check with you on that evening to pay for your place. This is one of our biggest events of the year, so don't miss your opportunity. Please contact Barbara Miller: babsmiller00@gmail.com if you have any questions or want to be put on the informational emailing for the Craft Fair. Our fourth of July community potluck and in-house club competitions and patriotic show will be happening again this year at the Lodge. If your club or group would like to be in the competitions for trophies, please contact Cindy Graves at the Lodge office or John Noonan the Awards Ceremony and show Coordinator at (951) 902-9243 as soon as possible so we have plenty of time to order the trophies. There are sign-ups for the community potluck too. This helps us to know what types of food we'll need to buy to fill in the huge lunch and helps us to figure out the Ballroom set-up. We try to have the potluck and show in the Ballroom so all the food stays fresh and so there is cover should it be a hot day on the fourth. The sign-up sheets will be out in the Lodge Lobby, starting Monday, June 6. Have a wonderful month and I'll see you around the Lodge. 16 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2016 Activities Director Corner JUNE 3 Desert Boogie Dance 4 Karaoke 10 Piano Night 12 or 26 Amphitheater Concert 18 Luau JULY 2 Tennis Wimbledon Party 4 4th of July Celebration 15 Desert Boogie Dance 17 Amphitheater Concert 23 Summer Fun Dance 25 Photo Display 29 Password Game 30 Karaoke AUGUST 5 AACC Motown Show 13 Country Western 19 Desert Boogie Dance 20 Karaoke 21 Amphitheater Concert 26 Piano Night 27 Magic Show SEPTEMBER 3 Tennis US Open Party 17 Karaoke 18 Amphitheater Grand Finale 24 Art Fair 30 Piano Night OCTOBER 7 Radio Show 8 HOA Garage Sale 15 Craft Boutique 18 Tennis Banquet 21 Love & Marriage Show 22 Karaoke NOVEMBER 11 Veterans Day 12 Karaoke DECEMBER 2 & 3 Holiday Extravaganza 9 Ballroom Dance Christmas 10 AACC Christmas Dance 13 Holiday Magic Show 15 Wine Club Holiday Formal 23 Karaoke Kristmas 31 New Years Eve By Cindy Graves, Activities Director UPCOMING EVENTS
