In May, we had our annual photo contest. Sixty nine wonderful
photos were entered into Animal, People, Places, and Things
categories. Attendees cast ballots, marking each image as Average,
Above Average, or Excellent. Naturally, photos received votes of
every opinion; very few did not receive an Excellent vote. It was an
exciting and rewarding activity for all members, and some learning
opportunities were had by all. First Place and Best Of Show ribbons
were presented at the group's annual BBQ in June.
Congratulations to all for demonstrating their photographic
skills and sharing their wonderful photos!
The Sun Lakes Photo Group is not a club; there are no officers,
by-laws, or dues. We welcome anyone interested in photography
to join us at a meeting. If we have anything to offer you, perhaps
you'll come again. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each
month at 7 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Due to
our many travels over the summer months, we are dark in July and
August. Meetings resume in September
