Who says you cannot write? Of course you
can, whether you believe it or not. Anyone
who can talk, can write. Writing is merely
putting your words onto paper or, in today's
more technological world, typing your
words into the computer and then printing
them onto paper. That's what the Sun Lakes
Creative Writers do. We share what we
write, whether prose or poetic, whether
fiction or non-fiction, whether polished
or in rough draft, whether finished or
unfinished. We share our thoughts,
ideas, and suggestions about what we
see and hear from one another and have
a good time doing it. And…you cannot beat
the price since there are no dues. Perhaps we
should call that "free verse."
Why not join us at one of our two monthly
meetings, observe us in action, become
acquainted, and participate to the extent
you'd like. Bring along something you've
written if you wish.
We meet the first Monday of the month
from 3 to 5 pm in the Main Clubhouse
Multipurpose Room and on the third
Wednesday of the month from 12:30 to 2:30
pm in the North Clubhouse. For additional

Low Vision Support Group
The low vision support group will be closed for
the summer. We will re-open on Sept. 12. The
fall programs will include
the desert guide dogs on
