FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2016 47
Our May trip was the Cleghorn Trail off
of I-15 at the Cajon Pass. Steve Kenyon was
the leader. We had 12 vehicles participate
on this trip. This trip was ideal for all levels
of off-roaders because the main trail is
not too difficult. For those who were more
adventurous, Steve led them on numerous
side trails which were more difficult. One
trail would probably be classified as a "Black
Diamond" trail, which is the most difficult.
We ended up at Silverwood Lake for a picnic
lunch. However, it was extremely windy
which made for a short lunch break. It was a
beautiful day, and everyone enjoyed the trip.
If you are interested in learning more about
this group, please join us for our meeting
which is held the second Tuesday of the
month at 7 am at the Lodge. Our monthly trip
is usually the third Thursday of every month.
We meet in the north parking lot of the Lodge
at 8 am. Anyone who has a four-wheel drive
vehicle is welcome. If you have any questions
call Bob Cooper at (951) 769-6352 or Steve
Kenyon at 951-660-1366. ~ Bob Cooper
