Travel Club
Karaoke in July will be on the second Sunday, July 10 in the
Lodge Ballroom, more commonly known as "The Karaoke Lounge"
at 2 pm. Just a note to let all of you singers that don't come to
karaoke because the wait time to sing is just too long, there will
probably be one less person in the rotation this session. I may not
be able to sing this session due to having my front bridge needing
to be worked on by my dentist. Have you ever tried to sing with no
front teeth, you cannot sing anything with an "F" sound in it. This
session I was going to sing "my unny valentine", and " ly me to the
moon" there's just no reaking way, without ront teeth, or if you get
in an argument with some big guy, you can't curse him out with no
ront teeth, he just starts lau-ing at you, so if you've been wanting a
chance to sing, get yoursel to karaoke and lets have some un. See
you there, Bill. Glad my name isn't " rankie" or " reddy".
The travel club had a very informative meeting in May
where we learned so much about Croatia. Each month we
bring in a special speaker to tell us about the many options in
travel — different types of travel, trips available, hints for safe
travel, etc. That being said, please note that we are canceling
the July meeting due to so many people traveling. We will start
up club meetings again Aug 18. Travel Club meetings are the
third Thursday of each month at 6 pm in the ballroom. All are
welcome; please come join us!
