FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2016 49 All Seasons RV Roadrunner RVers This July and August the RV group is pretty quiet. We have upcoming trips to northern Arizona, the Albuquerque Balloon Festival and Santee Lakes to finish off 2016. If you have an RV and are interested in joining this fun group come to a meeting and check us out. New members are always welcome and we enjoy sharing our RV experiences. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 pm in the Lodge. Hope to see you there. ~ Ann Williams We all are having a busy summer, and as a result, we are not home! Many are on long RV trips to other states, cruising, etc. So, we have not been able to connect since our May RV meeting. Our next meeting is at Pat and Gordon Shepard's home at 7 pm on Aug. 11. Our upcoming trips include the Sierras with the Guys in August and September. Parker, Arizona with the Guys, September into October. San Clemente State Park with the Jacobsons, Oct. 9- 14. Pahrump and Death Valley Nov. 6 with the Shepards. If you wish to join us, please contact Bill Guy at (951) 845-5627, or Jane Jacobson at (951) 797 3563. ~ Jane Jacobson Horseshoe Club As promised last month, the winners with accompanying photos of our Fourth of July Tournaments are as follows: Doubles – 1st Place winners were Dave Thomason and Rich Carrasco, 2nd Place winners were Rich Burns and Mike Corbett. Singles – 1st Place winner was Ron Erickson, 2nd Place winner was Victor Mayoral. Trophies were presented at the Fourth of July program by Gary Christie, who made us winners sound much better than we actually are. Thanks Gary! Our club would like to welcome our new secretary, Andi Henderson, after the departure of Dee Kelch. Our monthly social, starting with dinner at The Bistro followed by dessert at a member's home, was hosted this month by recent new members Mike and Kris Corbett, at their spacious brand new very nicely designed home, both inside and out. Desserts were absolutely delicious. Always nice to have new members immediately get involved in all club activities. Well done Mike and Kris. What a great and enjoyable club to be a part of!
