The Four Seasons bus excursions had another fantastic trip. We spent a lovely Sunday aboard a private Hornblower Yacht. Greeted by the ship captain, we were handed a sparkling glass of champagne, with unlimited champagne to follow throughout our harbor tour. We were treated with white gloves: background music, white linen tablecloths, crystal goblets — nothing but the best for our Four Season's group. The yacht had lovely seating, a lounge and a view from every sitting place on board. The weather was magnificent — there were plenty of weather jokes as Hemet soared well into the high 90s that Sunday! We enjoyed a toast to our wonderful community; grateful for the abundance of camaraderie and friendship. All were so very appreciative for this fabulous day with friends and neighbors. Boats passed, waving to us; and the views of the Coronado Bay and shorelines were absolutely breathtaking. We could not have asked for a better cruise. We headed from the boat to the shore at Seaport Village, where we all scattered in search of shopping treasures, specialty foods and just some time sitting on the boardwalk wall, watching the boats and listening to the sounds. The consensus was that all had a wonderful and memorable time and are asking for many more trips to come! Thank you to all who attended. Upcoming Trips: Lion King Tickets went on sale on July 7 at 10 am and sold out within the hour. The trip will be a wonderful Broadway Play at the San Diego Civic. We know it is going to be yet another huge hit! For anyone who was unable to buy a ticket for Lion King, there is a trip with Silver Lining on Sept. 8 and tickets are only $5 more. There are, at time of writing, still seats available. It is not sponsored or exclusive to our community, but does offer the opportunity to catch the show. The Candlelight Pavilion Christmas Play on Dec. 1 is going to be a fantastic production and luncheon. Keep watch for information on when tickets to go on sale as we anticipate a big response and fast sell out. Additional Trips Planned! Due to the high demand for our trips, we are doing our best to add a few trips this year. When this program was launched we were unsure of the response. Now that we know we have a huge demand and a community asking for more, we will do our best to keep the bus rolling. Thank you all for your support and attendance. We look forward to many more fun bus excursions!
