28 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | August 2016 | Travel Club The Four Seasons Travel Club had a wonderful presentation on Croatia and everything you could want to know about this popular, beautiful and historic destination. If you didn't make it, you really missed out on an educational and informative presentation. We are planning for our next meeting on Sept. 15 at 6 pm. We have some exciting presentations and destination learning opportunities coming up in the fall such as America's National Parks, AMA Waterways River Cruising among other topics. Stay tuned for details later in the summer. No meeting in August but mark your calendar now for Sept. 15. See you then! Contact Rhonda at (951) 929-0033 or Sandy at (951) 200-9913 for questions or for suggestions for our Travel Club. TGIF Summer greetings! We hope everyone is enjoying these warmer months. Our lovely pool has been especially welcoming. Be sure to give it a try AND the great new BBQ areas! We are really excited about August. For our TGIF evenings we are doing the happy dance! We get to offer two musical extravaganzas and you really won't want to miss either one. Aug. 5 - ULTIMATE MANILOW concert DVD: Such wonderful songs as "Ready to Take a Chance Again," "Even Now," "Daybreak," "Weekend in New England," "Somewhere in the Night," "Can't Smile Without You," "Copacabana," "I Write the Songs," plus so many more of this talented writer. The taping of this special was amazing… you'll see Barry just talking with the audience, warm-ups, etc. Truly a great opportunity to know the man and his talents. Please join us. Aug. 19 - LIVE MUSIC provided by GUITAR & MELODIES: Ron and Evelyn Vodegel are also Four Seasons residents and are a very talented household! Performing all kinds of genres, this couple will definitely make you get up and dance — so be ready. Ron is quite the guitar player and compiles all his arrangements electronically. Evelyn joins in with her lovely voice. They perform all over Southern California, quite frequently at our Elks Club. They have graciously donated this evening to meet more neighbors and share their talents. You won't want to miss this evening of live music and dancing... a one-time event for TGIF! Doors for both evenings will open at 5 pm. Please bring a dish to share for 8-10 people. Please bring your own plates and utensils and of course, what ever beverages you wish! Dinner will begin at 5:30 pm. Music on both nights will begin right around that time as well. Stay cool and see you at the Lodge! Ron & Evelyn Vodegel
