| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | SEPTEMBER 2016 | 49 Sun Lakers at Canyon Lanes By the time you read this our league will be over. As of this writing we have one team in first place. That would be team 19 All Cities with Hope Salazar, Fabian Liendo, Gil Leon, and Richard Shanefelt. There are four teams tied for second place four games back, and three teams tied for third. With four weeks to go any one of these teams could take over first place. It will be a race to the finish. This shows how even the competition has been using our handicap system. Holding season high scores for the men are Scott Waddell with a scratch series of 700, Bruce Herwig with a scratch game of 253, Dan Comerford with a handicap series of 777, and Joe Griffin with a handicap game of 296. High season scores for the women are Bonnie Greene with a scratch series of 539, Maureen Condon with a high scratch game of 208, Carolee Mathews with a high handicap series of 722 and tied with Diana Reusch who also has a 722, and Olivia Leindo with a high handicap game of 277. These are some awesome scores for what some are calling tough alley conditions. We are proud of all of you. Great bowling and hope to see you all after the holiday, be safe. Our winter league starts on Sept. 12, with our organizational meeting on August 29 in the Main Ballroom at 10 am. Lobby side. It has been a great season.
