| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | SEPTEMBER 2016 | 33
We meet every 1st, 3rd, and (5th) Mondays of the month at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Arts
and Crafts Room. All Sun Lakes quilters are welcome, as well as those interested in learning to
quilt. Come check us out. There are no club fees.
Show and share is always a treat and inspirational. Please bring any spring quilts, blocks, or
any others quilt items you want to share.
Bring in your sewing machines, hand sewing, or whatever UFO you would like to work on.
Suggestions for projects or demos are always welcome. We have the room until 5 pm so plenty of
time to set up and get some things done.
Info., Sharon Blackburn 324-0146 or email blackburn.sharon@gmail.com or Lurline 769-0575.
Sun Lakes Quilters
Thank you to all the people who have been donating items to our club. We can
always use yarn as we haven't seen much coming in lately. Besides the weekly
items we work on to donate we will soon be addressing items for the craft fair
which is the first weekend in November. If you sew and have a couple of unfilled
days that you can lend a hand with simple sewing projects, tracing and cutting
out etc., there are things you can do at home. Please leave your donations in the
Arts and Crafts Room anytime on the metal table to the left of the door marked
SEW WHAT or call Gail, if you need items picked up, at 797-3589. We always like
to send a thank you if you leave your name and address with your items.
